“Standing in the Gap”

Recovery Café offers support in choosing and managing recovery to men and women traumatized by homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges.

Recovery Cafe also seeks to be a community which "stands in the gap" between economically rich and poor members of the human family by inviting individuals into relationships that cross economic barriers and reinforce our relatedness.

We invite you to join us as we Stand in the Gap, alongside the men and women of Recovery Cafe.

There are many ways to Stand in the Gap at Recovery Cafe. If you would like to share your time and talents at Recovery Café, we have a wide variety of Volunteer Opportunities. We also have a running Wish List (PDF: 305KB), with all kinds of large and small needs for Recovery Café. And there are lots of ways that people make financial gifts to the Café—multiple year pledges, one-time gifts of money or stock, online donations and in-kind gifts. Gifts can also be applied directly to specific aspects of Recovery Café’s work that you want to support.
