On December 19th, Recovery Café hosted our annual Holiday Party to celebrate and share in the joy of the season with our Members. This year, of course, looked differently than in years past, but was still filled with love, cheer, and delicious food! We were grateful to partner with the Capestany Family, Holland Partner Group, Redeeming Souls, and Recovery Café volunteers who donated over 200 coats. Thanks to their support, we provided everyone who came with a warm winter coat and cold weather gear, as well as a hot meal donated from Ezell’s Famous Chicken. And in what is becoming a new Recovery Café tradition, everyone also received homemade cookies and encouraging notes. During this time of year that can be particularly challenging for our Members–and even more so this year–we are grateful for all the creative ways our volunteers provide tangible support and love to Members.
