Zylberschtein’s Delicatessen & Bakery is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Bagel Trot, a self-guided walking tour of some of Seattle’s best locally owned bagel shops and cafes. And this year, it’s benefitting Recovery Café! We hope you can join in the fun on Saturday, June 3rd.
This year’s trot is approximately 7 miles. Starting at Recovery Café in South Lake Union, participants will get to sample bagels from Rubinstein’s Bagels, taste coffee from Caffe Vita, hear music from a New Orleans style Brass Band, and then journey along Eastlake to North Seattle. Stop along the way at: Recovery Café, Grand Central Café & Bakery and Victrola Coffee, Portage Bay Grange & Feed, Westman’s Bagels, Broadcast Coffee, Local Yokels, and Zylberschtein’s, your final destination, where Blue Kettle Books will be set up with their mini bookmobile.
Register for the event here. We are so grateful to Zylberschtein’s and their many partners for creating this fun (and delicious!) community building event. Registered participants will receive a T-shirt with artwork from artist and Recovery Café Member Mark Kaplan.
